Aimtron Electronics Limited, an Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) and Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) company, announced that its US subsidiary, Aimtron International Controls LLC (AIC), has recorded its highest-ever quarterly order bookings of US$11.8 million during the current quarter of the financial year.

AIC, which previously operated as ICS, has an operating history spanning more than 25 years. Until now, it had recorded average quarterly order bookings of less than US$4 million. Following its acquisition by Aimtron in February this year, current-quarter bookings have exceeded US$11.8 million, more than twice the historical quarterly average. AIC also added five new customers during the quarter, further expanding its customer base.

The strong order intake following the transition reflects the continued strength of the acquired business’s customer relationships and capabilities, along with Aimtron’s broader engineering, sourcing, manufacturing and customer-development resources.

The order bookings were driven primarily by ruggedised electronics programmes for applications operating in demanding environments, reinforcing AIC’s position in high-reliability electronics manufacturing.

The US business is a key part of Aimtron’s Aimtron 2.0 growth strategy, which focuses on building an integrated India–US manufacturing platform. The model aims to combine Aimtron’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities across both markets while enabling closer customer engagement and local manufacturing support for US customers.

Aimtron continues to strengthen these capabilities through the Group’s broader engineering, sourcing, manufacturing and customer-development resources while building the US business around its existing strengths.
