The Chaff Cutter Machine comes in two basic designs, i.e. ball bearing type which incorporates two anti-friction bearings, and plain version, which is the cast iron bush type. The rising mouths have two different types of tensions; both are equally efficient and available in either the ball bearing or plain version. Both the Chaff-Cutter heads are mounted on steel legs with forged feet. The rising mouth is 8.25†with two feeding rollers which are driven by a cast worm and two cast gears, enabling smooth operation and reducing excessive friction.
