The most common example is a downward-facing blower fan mounted over an entrance to a building, or an opening between two spaces to maintain the temperatures. Air curtains can be used to save energy by reducing the heat transfer between two spaces; it is often used where doors are required to stay open for operational purposes.

Further applications include customer entryways, shopping mall, show rooms, airplane hangars, cargo doors, drive through windows, restaurant doors, or shipping receiving doors. It also offers Viola range of flameproof air curtains, tailor made, based on USD and FDA standards for GMP requirements. These are available in all sizes, velocity ration from 10 to 25 m/sec.
