Atlas Copco has strengthened its lifecycle solutions portfolio with the launch of the Reman Program under the RePower Centre within its Power Technique Customer Centre. The initiative offers an OEM-certified remanufacturing solution that restores compressors to original factory specifications, helping customers optimise performance, extend equipment life and reduce the total cost of ownership through a sustainable refurbishment approach.

The programme supports industries such as automotive, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, textiles, cement, steel, infrastructure and general manufacturing, where equipment reliability and operational continuity are critical. By enabling customers to restore equipment performance without complete replacement, the Reman Program offers a cost-efficient and dependable alternative aligned with evolving industrial requirements.

Built on a structured, factory-controlled process, the programme ensures performance equivalent to original equipment standards. Compressors are systematically disassembled, inspected and restored using genuine, quality-assured components. Critical systems, including air ends, drive interfaces, cooling assemblies and controller modules, are recalibrated to OEM specifications. This is followed by rigorous testing covering airflow validation, pressure checks, safety assessments and final performance verification before deployment.

The Reman Program is designed to help customers restore compressor performance to factory standards, improve equipment uptime and operational reliability, extend equipment lifecycle, reduce replacement and maintenance costs, and support sustainable asset utilisation practices.
