Acetal plates

Engineered Polymers (India), situated in Mumbai, is a manufacturer of stock shapes rods, plates and tubes, and finished parts of engineering and high performance plastics. It has introduced an international range of Polyacetal Delrin and Celcon plates. The plates are available in thickness of 5 mm to 100 mm and widths of 610 mm in length of 1200 mm and 3 metres. The rods are available in the diameters of 5 mm to 200 mm in lengths of 1 meter and 3 meters. Customized sizes are also available. These materials are characterised by high mechanical properties; negligible water absorption compared to nylons and hence much greater dimensional stability, low frictional coefficient and low wear rates. An outstanding material for sliding applications, it is FDA approved for use in contact with food. Applications include pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, medical equipment, food processing, materials handling, bottling equipment and underwater applications.
