Machine tools expo IMTEX 2021 rescheduled to June 17-23 due to COVID 19 pandemic

IMTEX 2021 - the leading exhibition for machine tools industry in India - has been rescheduled to June 17-23, 2021 from January 2021 due to COVID 19 pandemic. Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association (IMTMA) organises its flagship IMTEX 2021 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC).

“The COVID 19 pandemic has created a tough situation for businesses across the world. Manufacturing and machine tool industry is impacted severely, not only in India but globally as well. The recovery of these industries is paramount. Most manufacturing industry segments which are key participants of IMTEX as ‘visitors/ buyers’ are also striving hard to come back to normalcy which may take a few more months’ time. Considering these circumstances, IMTEX 2021 & Tooltech 2021 has been rescheduled to June 17-23, 2021 from January 2021. IMTMA-BIEC has put in place all the health & safety measures to organise Exhibitions with necessary norms,” said IMTMA in a statement.

The 50-year old machine tool exhibition, IMTEX, will now be a more comprehensive and extrapolated show covering an exciting assemblage of new-age technologies under one roof by remodeling itself to a new paradigm as the international machine tool and manufacturing technology exhibition.

In 2019, it had introduced new pavilions to cover Additive Manufacturing under the banner "Additive Manufacturing Expo" and Industry 4.0 under the banner "Factory of the Future". In IMTEX 2021, its will bring these two pavilions under the banner Digital Manufacturing.

IMTEX 2021 will showcase a wide range of metal cutting machine tools. The manufacturing segment will feature a broad spectrum of technologies ranging from Digital Manufacturing to Cloud, Additive Manufacturing, Digital Factory, Industry 4.0 etc.

The concurrent exhibition, ToolTech will continue and showcase the world of parts, accessories and systems for machine tools and manufacturing technology. As one of the leading global machine tool and manufacturing technology shows, IMTEX 2021 will attract leading industry think-tank & industry influencers.
