Cummins India Limited, a leading power solutions technology provider, has announced the appointment of Gbile Adewunmi as Managing Director and India Regional Leader, effective 1 November 2026. He will assume these responsibilities alongside his current role leading Industrial Markets within Power Systems.

Adewunmi currently serves as Vice President, Power Systems Industrial Markets at Cummins. He has worked with customers and partners across demanding industrial markets, including mining, to deliver practical and scalable power solutions. His work includes advancing hybrid-electric retrofit solutions, mining technologies and other power solutions that support customer productivity, reliability and emissions-reduction goals.

India remains a strategic growth market for Cummins and an important part of its future. The company said Cummins India Limited’s strong leadership team, talented employees and clear strategy position it to build on its momentum and continue delivering for customers across the region.
