Addverb launches JEN 6 QDD robotic arms for Physical AI research

Addverb, a global robotics and automation company, has launched JEN 6, its latest QDD robotic arms, at SEMICON India 2026. Designed as a platform for research and development in Physical AI, JEN 6 supports applications across robotic manipulation, computer vision, Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models, world models and reinforcement learning.

JEN 6 is designed for applications such as object recognition, grasping and robotic manipulation. The arms support wrist-mounted vision systems and come with a software development kit (SDK) for data collection and independent arm control. These capabilities enable researchers and developers to develop, test and evaluate robotic systems that integrate AI-based perception and decision-making with physical action.

JEN 6 will be showcased alongside Addverb’s Elixis-W, a wheeled humanoid platform, and Vertix, a compact storage solution for SMD and SMT components. Vertix is designed to increase storage capacity while providing quick access to components during electronic production.

“The future of robotics lies at the intersection of AI and physical intelligence. With JEN 6, we are creating a platform that allows researchers and developers to explore this intersection through real-world manipulation, perception and learning. Our presence at SEMICON India 2026 reflects our continued focus on developing robotic technologies that can translate advances in AI into physical capabilities,” said Sangeet Kumar, CEO and Co-founder of Addverb.

The lightweight JEN 6 arms can also be used for university teaching, robotics training and rapid prototyping. Their hardware and software capabilities provide students and researchers with an environment to experiment with robotic control, data collection and AI-driven manipulation.

The launch adds another dimension to Addverb’s growing Physical AI portfolio. The company is developing robotic systems across different form factors, with the aim of enabling machines to understand and operate in increasingly dynamic real-world environments.

Visitors can experience Addverb’s latest robotics technologies at Booth No. 1446 at SEMICON India 2026.
