SUHNER India is a SUHNER Group company. The company provides drive engineering solutions. It provides flexible shafts, spiral bevel gears and pneumatic motors. Supplying single components, or complete assemblies in standard dimensions, the company, capable of manufacturing components or assemblies as per the specifications and design requirements of the clients, offers flexible shafts that make an optimal resolution for transmission of rotational forces, which are not possible or commercial on straight axes. SUHNER offers power transmission shafts for higher drive and pure power transmission, and torsion strong shafts for mechanical applications with low drive and low rotation. Special shafts include hollow shafts, flocked shafts for sound insulation or flank lead cables in combination with gear wheels. Typical applications include retracting car roof (convertible roof mechanism), power seat movement (SU-Flock shafts), control pedal operation, outer rear view mirror operation, speedometers, etc. The special shafts, hollow shafts and flocked shafts for example, find use in sound insulation application or as flank lead cables in combination with gear wheels.
