Multiple spring unbalanced type of versatile seal, RDM Series, can be fixed outside or inside stuffing box depending on the pressure and size of stuffing box. This seal designed gains the importance on the operating under high pressure parameter in a wide range of chemical industry. This is a compact design, precision lapped faces, high flexibility and field reparability. The unit is available in a wide variety of metallurgies offering flexible mechanical features with maximum reliability. Elastomers O-ring can be offered for a wide service application. All secondary seals are dimensionally interchangeable. Operating limits: shaft diameter - d1 14 to 100 mm; p - 17 to 5 bar; t - -60 to 260?C; and v - 25 m/s.
