Small Size Planetary Gear Reducers

With a maximal backlash of 12 arcmin the Value Line LP series of planetary gear reducers offered by Alpha Getriebebau GmbH are designed for low-end users. These planetary gear reducers feature a completely closed design and are supplied in four sizes with ratios from 5:1 to 100:1 and torques from 46 to 4248 in lb. For highly dynamic starts the gear reducers can be loaded with 2.5 times the nominal output torque. Simple adapter kits allow the gear reducers to be mounted on any motor within three minutes, regardless of the mounting position. An optimal tooth geometry lends the reducers an efficiency of up to 97 per cent. The average lifetime is more than 20,000 machine hours.
