Power LED Signage Strips

Kwality Everon Power LED range consists of Super Flux LEDs and PLCC SMD LEDs. The company has now announced signage strips and power LED strips. These strips, thanks to their “maintenance free” aspect and long life, are being more sought after than neon lights for usage in channel letter lighting. A typical Kwality signage strip consist of 4 Super flux LEDs (either as SGL module-4 LEDs x 1 row or as SGQ module-2 LEDs x 2 rows) with a built in resistor. These LED modules can be cascaded as desired to suit the length to be illuminated. Every module is provided with connectors/jumpers to allow easy assembly on the field. Each LED draws 80 mA @ 12 V for red/amber/yellow/Y-green) or 40 mA for white/blue/ultra green. These modules working voltage 12 V eliminator/power supply of suitable current capacity. Typical applications of these strips consist of channel letter lighting, cove lighting in the rooms and hotels and backlighting of logos. Higher brightness lighting is obtained by using strings of power LEDs. Polywa LEDs are available as single units (3.5 V) or 150 x 20 mm – 13 V – MPCB modules or freestyle strings or of 11 V or custom voltage. The Univa power LEDs drop3.5 V at 350 mA current and are very popular for outdoor signage’s of large malls and corporates.
