Float Switches

Pragati Engg Works manufactures float switches in different models. The switch is designed on the magnetic pick-up principle. It consists of one brass pipe fixed to a square flange. The Magnetic pick-up switch is placed inside the pipe. Solenoid Plug is used on top of the flange for electrical connection. Float is made of nylon, and the magnet is placed inside the float. When float reaches near the switch it gets operated and gives signal. Float switch contact is potential-free type. Normally NO contact is provided; if required NC or changeover contact can be provided. Contact rating is 48 V AC/DC 1 Amp resistive. Accuracy of level is 1 mm. These switches can be used up to 60?C temperature. The company offers all vertical mounting type switches; for special requirements horizontal switches can be offered. These switches are useful to sense liquid level in any tank like hydraulic power packs, lubrication units, and water tanks. Pragati Engg also offers fully automatic control system for underground/overhead tank pumping station. This system requires two float switches with a controller. More than one level sensing float switches can also be supplied.
