Atomic Absorption Spectrometer, Portable

Electronic Enterprise offers a wide range of analytical instruments from Lumex Limited, Russia available at reasonable prices. The range includes atomic absorption spectrometers, IR spectrometers, capillary electrophoresis systems (for ion analysis), laser based particle size analyser, microwave digestion systems for sample preparations. Portable atomic absorption spectrometer: the specialty of portable model is its low power consumption (15 W) and low weight (7.5 kg with built-in batteries). It offers background correction using Zeeman effect with HF modulation polarisation. A computer controlled motorised 6-lamp turret provides fully automated operation with hollow-cathode (all elements used in atomic absorption) and high intensity electrodeless discharge lamps (Al, As, Ba, Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Pb, Mn, Hg, Ni, P, Si Ag, Sr, Zn, Ca, Mg, Na). To give more idea on significance of this type of instrument, use of mercury detection in different fields for using portable model RA915+ is given below. The spectrometer can be used for mercury determination in air and natural gas, samples o soils, rocks, water in laboratory as well as in field conditions. Main applications are: mercury in ambient air ? background monitoring and continuous survey; detection of indoor pollution, control of demercurisation; mercury in soil an water ? rapid analysis of solid and liquid samples; mercury in biological samples; mercury in human body ? analysis of hair, blood, urine, exhaled air; mercury determination in natural gas and other fossil fuels; geochemical exploration and ecological surveys; and scientific research.
