Centrifugal chemical process pumps, frp moulded

Chemtrol Industries is a manufacturer of nonmetallic FRP moulded chemical process pumps. The wetted components - casing, impeller, backcover, gland pusher, impeller nut, etc, are solid moulded in fibre glass reinforced polyester (FRP) resin through a unique moulding process, with the hydraulic passages and contact surfaces smoothly contoured and rich in resin ensuring excellent resistance to corrosion and abrasion. These FRP composites are particularly suited for applications with highly corrosive, contaminated and aggressive liquids and provide strength and superior impact resistance. The non-metallic construction eliminates galvanic corrosion. Conceptual approach to inventory control through maximum dimensional interchangeability has achieved optimum design standardization leading to a large number of permutations between various pump models and motor frames on a limited number of base frames and power and assemblies. These pumps are available in two speed ranges - 1440 and 2900 RPM, in a wide range of capacities and head.
