Bogie Hearth Furnace

Ashok Enterprises offers a Bogie Hearth Furnace for annealing and hardening of large parts. For example, for heavy cast parts, tool steel SS and alloy steel round bars for temperatures between 800ºC to 1200ºC, the company recommends bogie hearth furnaces with radiation heating. The bogie can be loaded outside the furnace. When design includes an electro-hydraulic lift door and motorised bogie, the furnace can be opened while hot and load can be removed for cooling and quenching. When several bogies are used together, with second door or bogie transfer systems, one bogie can be loaded outside the furnace while other bogie is in the furnace. This shortens process time and residual energy of the furnace can be used when new charge is heated.
