Welding Electrode Plants (Pilot Plants)

Fluid Servicing makes pilot machinery for manufacturing of welding electrodes. These machines include wet mixer, wire straightening/cutting machine, extruder and baking oven. These machines can be accommodated in approximately 200 square feet or 14'X 14' size premises. This tiny plant requires only 8 HP electric power at a time (or 6 kW/440 V). This plant can be operated/run by three persons only. All types of electrodes, eg, stainless steel, low hydrogen, low heat input electrodes, casting, hard facing, cutting, general purpose and any special purpose electrodes can be produced on this machine. This plant is also useful for small batch production for small quantity or testing purpose with no wastage during manufacturing. Production rate of this unit is 45 metres coated wire per minute or 125 rods/minute. In other words, about 600 kg welding electrodes can be manufactured in 8 hours.
