Multiconnection Couplings

A recent survey (source UNIMA, National association of agriculture mechanisation companies) focused on third party farmers, had clearly pointed out all the potential benefits attainable by adopting innovative technological solutions on harvesting machines. In this particular field, in fact, every second of time saved in setting-up, transferring, adjusting and maintenance of the machine is directly translated into economical benefits. Within the survey, average times for carrying out the above activities have been recorded and consequently quantified the potential savings in case the new technologies are adopted. In particular, this survey points out that thanks to the MultiFaster series multiconnection able to quickly connect and disconnect the harvesting head, it is possible to obtain important benefits. In the old technology, the single stand-alone quick-release couplings, one coupling for each hydraulic line, electrical connectors are not integrated; the disadvantage here is, longer time is needed to connect the hydraulic lines, lines inversion risk, and particular tools could be necessary in case of trapped pressure into the lines. Thanks to the new technology, multiconnection systems equipped with several hydraulic lines with the possibility of integrated electrical connector, there is dramatic reduction of the connection time, unambiguous connection position, no risk of lines inversion, other tools are not needed, higher safety for the operator, higher productivity, better quality of work.
