Video Profile Projector

Video profile projector, VPP14, is a state-of-the-art measuring system, which combines the latest developments in the optical, electronic, and mechanical engineering technology. The system consists of a CCD camera with a high resolution, video lens, an accurate X-Y stage with linear encoders and a DRO, all mounted on rigid frame with provision for Z axis movement of the camera and lens on linear bearing for focus adjustment. Surface illumination is provided by an array of high intensity LEDs mounted on a ring placed around the projection lens. The profile illumination is provided by halogen lamp placed beneath the stage glass. The magnified image formed by the CCD camera and lens is displayed on the monitor. Both color and monochrome versions are available. The system has capabilities for image capture and archiving, image processing and edge enhancements, calibration and measurement of geometric features on the image. Standard and customised reports can be generated and printed along with the image. A proprietary electronic cross lines generator overlays reference cross lines in the center of the monitor screen. The system can be upgraded to a fully computerised system with a frame grabber card computer, printer and a powerful but user friendly software.
