Witt-Gasetechnik GmbH & Co KG offers a new Gas Analysis Device, MFA 9000, for delivering the correct gas mixture for the convenience of quality inspectors and service technicians. The analyzer that can be used for a vast multitude of applications is now capable of determining the composition of 13 mixtures from respectively two gases. The MFA 9000 analyses the common technical gases of nitrogen, carbon dioxide, argon, hydrogen, helium as well as methane. Operation is practically infallible: for WITT a selector lever with three keys is covers it all. In the digital display the measuring result will be shown in percent in respect of the gas combination or as ppm share (parts per million). The measurement follows the principle of thermal conductivity, a quick and precise method, moreover with unlimited useful life of the measuring cell. As quickly as in one second the first result is given. The deviance from the final value of the measuring range is only around one percent. The calibration is done by means of a standard 2-point calibration or in simplification with one gas. Due to its compact dimensions of just 240 x 231 x 230 mm (w x h x d) the new MFA 9000 can be used mobile, 230 V are needed for operation. The gas pressure may be in the range from 1.5 to 20 bar; the flow rate is 40-150 Nl/h. Those who want to use the antirust stainless steel analyser permanently and stationary, will be served excellently: the MFA 9000 is capable of alarm functions, detects measuring errors and delivers its data via an RS232 interface on a PC by which the device can be completely controlled and even calibrated as well. Furthermore, an outlet with 4-20 mA is provided, which can be optionally expanded. WITT-Gasetechnik is considered one of the biggest manufacturers of mixing, dosing and control systems, as well as analysers and safety equipment for all common gases.
