Transflo Pumps (formerly Aqua-Air Engg & Services) offers Motorised Drum Pumps for low viscous liquids. The pump tube is connected to motor by means by means of self-aligning coupling. The motor transmits power through coupling to the drive shaft of pump, which is well supported by a Teflon bearing. The impeller is mounted at the foot piece of the pump tube and is always immersed in the liquid, which assures self priming. Advantages: the drum pump empties the drum to residue of 1 litre, self-priming and also self-draining on completion, no welding is involved in any part of pump tubes, and complete strip down is possible with least number of tools. A40 transfer pump tubes: available in SS 316/PP/PVDF to suit any drum or container, standard inlet size in 44mm. Outlet size is 20 mm to suit 1” flexible hose, standard tube length available in 39”, custom lengths are made up to 60”. A40 mixing pump tubes: ideal for drum mixing when the contents of drum must be thoroughly mixed, provided with precisely designed perforation in order to achieve circulation, useful for blending liquid – liquid medium using draft tube agitation principle. Mixing and transfer tubes are interchangeable with A40 drive motors. A40E electric motor: fully enclosed, fan cooled motors with On-Off switch, single phase, AC-DC, intermittent duly rated, 15 feet long industrial cord and plug. A40 A pneumatic or air motor: variable speed drive with in built control valve, suitable for safe operation in flammable environments, automatically cools down due to expansion of compressed air, air requirement is 15 CFM @ 3-6 bar. Air inlet size is 3/8”. As sparking or fusing is not possible, air motor offers explosion protection without involving additional cost for safety precautions.
