It has developed these pumps that are very useful in the application of the grinding as well as in mixing with water of all types of food waste. These pumps grind the waste in very small pieces that can easily digest with reducing the silting condition in the food waste based biogas plants. These pumps are also very useful in gobar (cow dung) and other conventional type biogas plants in mixing of waste with water to make it homogeneous for the inlet slurry. When waste and water mixes homogeneously, it increases the gas production as well as reduces slitting of the slurry in the plant. Two types of pumps are available: 1. Hopper type for small biogas plants; and 2. Foot type for big biogas plants.
