Locktite Safe Coat

Henkel has launched Loctite Safe Coat in India. An easy-to-use anti-corrosion coating that offers twice the service lifetime of any competitor solution. Loctite Safe Coat is a low viscosity, solvent-based coating, ideal for spraying with a conventional air spray gun at a low pressure of 1-2 bar. The coat provides a pinhole-free, ultra-smooth and glossy finish with a short cure cycle, significantly improving the surface and reducing the friction that causes 'boundary drag'. A Superior performance 2 part epoxy product, Loctite Safe Coat is unique as no thinner is required during the application process. Aimed at applications like submersible pump rotors, tube sheet resurfacing, condensers, cooling pump impellers, butterfly valves and cavitation pumps, line tanks and chutes, resurfacing and repair of rudders and pintle housings, and line chemical containment areas, Loctite Safe Coat is a heat cure product, which leads to reduction in curing time; is easy to use, and applied by spraying with standard pilot S 59 gun.
