- High-quality raw material is used in manufacturing these switch gears. They also conduct a series of tests to check their reliability and functionality.
- The static portions of switchgear panel, bus bars, relay/metering compartment and CT/cable compartment are not changed. The horizontal/vertical travel distance of the breaker truck is matched with that of the old breaker.
- The isolating power, main contacts, and auxiliary contacts of the circuit breaker are set matched with those set in the old breaker and interchangeability of the breaker is preserved. Its retrofit can be taken up at convenient, short, pre-planned shutdown.
- The old circuit breaker, along with the breaker compartment, is replaced with the new circuit breaker and breaker housing that is designed and tested for the existing switchgear.
- Existing partitions, shutters, power contacts, tracking mechanism and control circuit plugs and sockets are replaced with new ones as per the requirement.
- The jumper links in the bus bar compartment are modified to match the contacts of the retrofitted module and precise alignment of breaker and panel contacts is ensured during product design and assembly.
