Defibrillator

BPL Medical Technologies the spearheads pioneering efforts in medical technology and innovation offers Defibrillator. A defibrillator is used for saving lives in emergency medicine during cardiac dysrhythmias and during ventricular defibrillation. The device delivers countershock using electric current and recuperates an individual's electric state of the heart to beat in a pattern that can be controlled. The electric shock depolarises the heart muscle and hence brings back the normal conduction. Early in 1899, it was found that smaller electrical charges created ventricular fibrillation whereas large electrical charges reversed it and hence defbrillation as a concept was born. From paddle type bulky electrodes used in 1950s we have advanced to the modern day portable lesser weigh defibrillators. Defibrilaltors are no more limited to hospitals and emergency care set-ups. Automated external defibrillators, also called as PAD (Public Access Defibrillators)are installed in public places to save lives.

  • The current-controlled biphasic waveform lowers the electrical threshold for successful defibrillation, besides adjusting for impedance
  • The machine incorporates easy-to-use 1-2-3 operation
  • 100 charge/discharge of 300J with fully charged new battery
  • Records the heart rate and rhythm and provides the ability to easily archive and review up to 24 recorded event data
  • Allows the printing of recorded events using a high resolution thermal print at reduced noise level LCD display provides crisp and accurate readings with better contrast and brightness
  • Remote charging and discharging through paddles facilitates easy charging for convenient use
  • Different levels of energy can be selected based on the requirementa
