Nanos are manufactured under license from the Director of Boilers, as per the Indian Boiler (Amendment) Regulations- 2007 – chapter XIV. These regulations were introduced to make small boilers more user friendly to the end user reducing cumbersome procedures during manufacturing and during the licensing . The volumetric capacity of such boilers is restricted to 500ltrs and the maximum working pressure is 7kscg.
