Chains for oilfield machinery

TI Diamond Chain offers special chains for oil field machinery. These chains have been designed and manufactured for oil well rig drives used in the most vigorous application where high velocity and extra heavy shock loads are present. The pitch holes of the product are drifted after being pierced and shaved. This eliminates peaks and valleys stress raisers in pitch holes resulting in greater holding power of the link plates. These plates are fortified against fatigue by shot peening which makes the chains to have high working load capabilities. Rollers made of quality raw material withstands high impact loads encountered in draw works and rotary drives. The heat-treated pins and bushes of these chains maintain a high core for maximum toughness and breaking load. The chains are preloaded resulting in reduced initial stretch. The cotter type oilfield chains with press fit outer plates ensure performance equal to that of riveted chains. Multiple strand roller chains are assembled with either slip fit or press fit centre plates. This enables in removing or replacing the sections of chains quickly with minimum effort. The hardened and tempered split pins for all connecting links and cotter type chains precludes possibility of chain failure. Press fit centreplate, multiple strand roller chain provides rigid and permanent support across the full width of the chain, and uniform load distribution between all strands. The press fit link plate extends the service life of chain drives.
