Ribbon Cutters/Ribbon Blenders

Shri Krishna Pulverisers & Engg Works offers Ribbon Cutters/Ribbon Blenders, which are well designed mixers (blenders) having rugged construction. The difference between a ribbon cutter and a ribbon blender is that, the former also granulises smaller particles into powder form, while the latter only blends. This is simple in design and efficient in working. They are brought in operation where some dry materials are required to be thoroughly mixed. Usually they are used where a small amount of chemical is required to be thoroughly mixed with large volume of dry material (filler). Being simple in design, their operation is trouble free. The body of the blender is fabricated by steel plates, forming a trough, which has got inlets on the top and one discharge outlet on the bottom. The body is fitted with a shaft having steel spiders over which ribbons/cutters and anti-directional fines are fitted. The shaft revolves on bearings fitted on specially designed housing gland packings on both sides. The driving is provided through gearbox arrangements.
