Sunvik Steels Private Limited, a primary steel producer and premier TMT steel bar manufacturer, has launched “Readyfix” steel solution for the construction industry similar to ‘Readymix’ concrete mixture solution. Readyfix is a downstream cut and bent service that provides customised solution for construction industry. Besides addressing conventional challenges faced by the construction industry, this service also aims to enhance construction building quality, efficiency through precision solution, improve inventory control, lower onsite labour, control wastage, improve health and safety at site and most importantly ensure timely construction of project. The company has set up a state-of-the-art fully automated computerised line imported from Italy to manufacture Readyfix solution – ranging from 8 mm to 40 mm. The machines can bend steel or stirrups to any geometrical shape at an accuracy of ±1°. According to the company this can save up to 50% cost in steel budget, which takes into account reduced wastage, pilferage, lower cutting and bending labour cost, lower inventory carrying cost and pilferage and overlapping.
