Its vinyl wear abrasion layer at the top retains colour and wear far longer than any rubber and single ply sheet flooring. Portaflor is marbleised flooring with traditional directional pattern available in both rolls and tiles and used in the pre fabricated building segment by some very established manufacturers around the world. The products are also available with anti-skid surfaces. Portaflor can also be custom made to meet special requirement like extra heavy-duty traffic application, special colours, thickness, sizes and widths. If desired a Portaflor roll installation can be heat welded to provide for a 100% seamless, water proof and germ free environment. Special heat welding cords/electrodes for these installations are available in diameters of 1, 2, 3 and 4 mm. The company recommends floor laying and heat welding operations to be carried out by trained personnel only. Portaflor is available in various colours.
