It can be manufactured from dissimilar materials when only one side will be exposed to corrosive conditions. Supermax can be designed for various applications like Single phase heating cooling applications, Vapor and Solvent condensers, Sub-Coolers, Evaporators and Reboilers and most of all those applications where gasketed plate heat exchangers have limits due to pressure, temperature or compatibility with the fluids.
