Standard Rubber Works is a manufacturer of high performance moulded rubber products and general-purpose elastomers. The range includes: moulded O rings up to 600 mm OD from viton, silicone, nitrile, neoprene and EPDM, having more than 2000 mould inventory of O-rings. O-rings of viton are precisely moulded to avoid air traps and rupture under high pressure and heat. The company takes adequate precautions to ensure that the ring is properly moulded at right temperature with proper cure and hot air pressurised oven post curing for achieving optimum compression set and tensile. The O-rings are available from shore hardness 60 to 90A. Silicone O-rings are used in pharma, dairy and food industries. These are: non-toxic and odourless; heat and high temperature up to 200?C; and low temperature up to -50?C in 150?C; good rebound resilience; EPDM O-rings are suitable for water and steam applications. These are brake oil resistant; weather and ozone resistant; and heat resistant up to 140?C. Seals, O-rings and bushes exposed to atmosphere are moulded from EPDM. General-purpose nitrile and neoprene O-rings are used in oil, grease and petroleum based fluids. These are heat resistant up to 100?C to 160?C; and also have good low temperature resistance.
