The Robotics + Automation division of The German Engineering Federation (VDMA) is organising Robotomation, a symposium for robotic automation trends in automotive industry, on June 14, 2019 at Hyatt Regency in Pune.
During Robotomation symposium, the VDMA Robotics + Automation division will also confer the 1st VDMA Robotics + Automation Innovation Awards for the automotive industry in India. Objective of the award is to recognise efforts and commitments towards innovation being efficient and effective by Indian companies serving the automotive industry.
“The event would focus on the global robotics and automation trends available for the Indian automotive industry. It would also address on the joint initiative of VDMA and OPC Foundation's Unified Architecture (OPC UA) on Industry 4.0 becoming a reality. During this event, well-known VDMA members namely Baumer, Festor, Kuka Robotics, Schunk, Siemens and Zimmer GmbH would hold application oriented technology presentations and an interactive panel discussion would culminate views from both the international and Indian perspective,” said Rajesh Nath, Managing Director, VDMA India.
The event will offer a networking platform for managing directors, CEOs, decision makers, plant managers, production heads, control & automation professionals from user industries, OEM, machinery manufacturers from prominent Indian and Indo-German companies cross regional business activities and knowledge sharing.
