Just as any good professional tool should, they can also cope with tough operating conditions. An LED light on the motor housing indicates when the brushes need to be changed.
This ensures that the armature is protected and that the motor has a long service life, even when used professionally for long periods of time. The exhaust air from the effective motor cooling is directed out of the front of the machine at an angle. All the new devices enable the user to execute quick tool changes.
The UBC 9-R is a hand-held compact belt grinder for detailed deburring, grinding and finishing work. The adjustable band tension and continuously adjustable belt speed which extends from 3000 to 8200 rpm, from 4.8 to 13.2 m/s, make it the ideal tool for metalwork and rail construction. Six quick change contact arms mean that the tool can be used anywhere. Abrasive belts are available in belt widths of 3, 6, 12, 16 and 19 mm.
The UTC 9-R is a compact tube polisher which is ideal for grinding and satin finishing tubes in rail construction and also ensures that even tricky spots obtain a perfect final finish. With a wraparound angle of up to 180°, it can be used to work on tubes as small as 45 mm in diameter. The band width is 30 mm. The user can change speeds continuously in a range from 3000 to 8200 rpm, from 4.6 to 12.5 m/s. A smooth start without jolting and a constant working speed provide the best conditions for producing the excellent results that are needed in rail construction.
UMC 6.R is perfect for every corner. The UMC 6.R is a hand-held electric power file which can be used for grinding and satin finishing for profiles, housing parts and rectangular pipes in metalwork and railing construction. The stroke frequency can be adjusted continuously in a range extending between 2300 and 5200 strokes/rpm. Undervoltage protection prevents the machine from starting up by accident after a power interruption. Its sleek form enables the user to access acute angles. Its power input is 500 W.
The UMB 4-RQ cross stroke file can be used for the same applications as the electric power file. It is the perfect device for enabling fast and clean work on the areas between the rods in rail construction.
