TPE3 pumps have revolutionised the role of today’s pumps. With its intelligent control modes and unparalleled energy efficiency, TPE3 pumps play an integral role in bringing hot water to faucets and cool air to ventilators. They are used primarily in commercial buildings such as hotels, airports, office buildings and hospitals, and have a host of heating and cooling applications. Specifications
These vertical, in-line pumps have excellent built in features and augmented communication capabilities. They are fitted with a permanent magnetic motor, integrated sensors, advanced control modes and multi pump functionalities. TPE3 pumps are easy to install, monitor and deliver maximum efficiency. Their improved hydraulics have provided them with the highest Minimum Efficiency Index (MEI lesser than or equal to 0.70). 
 
Besides this, the TPE3 pumps are also equipped with a TFT colour display for an improved user interface.

They come with intelligent control modes that can customise temperature, flow and pressure based on requirements to optimise performance:
> AUTOADAPT: This helps continuously monitor and change pressure or temperature on the basis of external factors and consumption patterns
> FLOWADAPT: This mode controls AUTOADAPT with a flow limiting function that monitors the flow rate and ensures that that the maximum flow rate is not exceeded. This will eliminate the need for a pump throttling valve to regulate the flow
> Differential temperature: This uses a sensor to measure the differential temperature between the incoming and outgoing liquid
> Differential pressure: This mode uses a sensor to match flow to the actual demand, eliminating the need for a pump balancing valve to maintain a constant flow rate
TPE3 is one of most energy efficient pumps in the market currently with a high MEI rating. They are capable of handling large volumes (From 5 to 80 m3/h Quantity and 3 to 25 m Head), varying temperature range (-25 degrees Celsius to +120 degrees Celsius) and ambient temperature (-20 degrees Celsius to +50 degrees Celsius). TPE3 has the ability to communicate the data from the sensors, other pumps, Grundfos GO remote management app along with BMS and CIM interfaces.

Cooling & air-conditioning: Accurately controlled cooling systems are crucial in maintaining the right indoor climate. But to achieve this level of accuracy one needs sophisticated technology to monitor performance. Grundfos TPE3 pumps give the opportunity to monitor critical system parameters and adjust accordingly. With TPE3, the system will adapt to demands and improve boiler performance, optimal deltaP control (even without remote sensors), and reduce risk of bypass flow.
Domestic hot water recirculation: Hot water application requires instant hot water when a tap is opened. Traditional solutions use constant speed pumps to provide the required pressure, resulting in high energy consumption. With TPE3 temperature controlled pumps the required desired temperature is always ensured at lowest possible cost. TPE3 saves energy by eliminating the need of throttling valve, reducing need of high pressure, and optimal temperature control.
