Novamax Technologies, a home appliances brand, is set to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities with a new facility in the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC). The company plans to invest Rs 2 billion in the plant, which will support the launch of new products, including air conditioners and washing machines.

The facility is expected to become operational within the next two years and will create employment opportunities for around 800 people through direct and indirect capacities. Of these, 350 jobs will be created directly, while another 450 jobs will be generated indirectly.

With this investment, Novamax Technologies aims to further strengthen its expansion plans in the consumer durables segment. The upcoming plant will enhance the company’s manufacturing capacity and enable production across a wider range of home appliance categories.

The facility’s location in the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor is expected to provide Novamax Technologies access to established industrial infrastructure and connectivity, supporting its manufacturing, logistics and supply chain requirements.

The upcoming plant will complement the manufacturing infrastructure already established by Novamax Technologies, including its facility in Gorakhpur, which was set up to enhance the company’s manufacturing capabilities in the region.

The investment reflects Novamax Technologies’ continued efforts to expand its manufacturing base in line with evolving business requirements. As the company diversifies into additional home appliance categories, the DMIC facility is expected to play a role in its future growth strategy.
