IMTMA postpones machine tools expo IMTEX 2022 due to rising Covid-Omicron cases

The IMTEX 2022 & IMTEX FORMING 2022 exhibition was scheduled for January 20-26, 2022. The rescheduled dates will be announced shortly.

To minimise health risks and safeguard the business interests of exhibitors and visitors and provide the best possible platform for both, Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA), which organises the prestigious IMTEX series at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) in Bangalore, has decided to postpone the IMTEX 2022 & IMTEX FORMING 2022 exhibition – which was scheduled for January 20-26, 2022. The rescheduled dates will be announced shortly.
IMTMA arrived at this decision following the recent spike of Covid / Omicron related cases at multiple geographical regions in India. “IMTMA believes that the decision will help exhibitors and user segments to recover well from the Covid impact, leading to maximum participation and high quality business outcomes. With our nation undergoing the world’s biggest vaccination drive, things are expected to normalize soon, and this would encourage and build confidence for both exhibitors and visitors to travel within and from outside India to attend the show. IMTMA once again reiterates that the combined IMTEX & IMTEX FORMING in 2022 will be conducted in a safe and secured environment following all the safety protocols. Tooltech and all other shows will be held concurrently,†said IMTMA in a press release.
