Boiler India 2026 has opened in Navi Mumbai, bringing together 240+ exhibitors and industry experts to discuss boiler safety, efficiency, digitalisation and modern technology.
Boiler India 2026 Opens in Navi Mumbai with Focus on Safety and Efficiency

Boiler India 2026, an international technical conference and exhibition focused on industrial boiler safety, operational efficiency and modern technology, was inaugurated by Maharashtra’s Minister for Labour, Adv Akash Fundkar.

The inauguration took place in the presence of Sanjay Savkare, Minister for Textiles, Government of Maharashtra, and Sujata Patil, Mayor, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation.

The three-day programme is being held from 8 to 10 October 2026 at the CIDCO Exhibition and Convention Centre, Vashi, Navi Mumbai.

Serving and former officials from the Labour Department, Directorate of Steam Boilers, Commissionerate of Labour and Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health were also present.

The exhibition features more than 240 exhibitors from India and overseas, representing boiler manufacturers, component suppliers and companies specialising in valves, fittings, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, energy efficiency, automation, digital monitoring and industrial safety technologies.

More than 20,000 trade visitors are expected during the three-day event. The programme includes 17 technical sessions featuring experts from India, the United States and Belgium.

Labour Minister Adv Akash Fundkar highlighted the importance of boilers to Maharashtra’s industrial development. He emphasised the need to give equal attention to industrial safety, worker protection, modern technology, energy efficiency and Ease of Doing Business.

He stated that safe boiler operations go beyond statutory compliance and are directly connected to worker safety, uninterrupted industrial production and the protection of industrial assets. As industries adopt modern technologies, maintaining prescribed safety standards and developing the technical competence of operating personnel remain essential.

Textiles Minister Sanjay Savkare described the boiler as the heart of industrial operations. He expressed confidence that the conference would provide practical guidance to industries on safe and efficient boiler operations while encouraging the adoption of environmentally responsible technologies.

He also stressed the importance of working towards zero accidents through improved technical knowledge and safety practices.

Boilers are extensively used across Maharashtra’s power generation, sugar, textile, chemical, pharmaceutical, food processing and petrochemical industries. Their safe and efficient operation is essential to industrial productivity, energy conservation and workplace safety.

The conference brings together government authorities, manufacturers, boiler users, engineers and safety professionals to exchange technical knowledge and discuss developments in boiler operations. The sessions cover safe operating practices, digital technologies, measures to reduce carbon emissions and future technological requirements of the boiler industry.

The Directorate of Steam Boilers, Maharashtra, functioning under the Labour Department, Government of Maharashtra, plays an important role in industrial safety through statutory inspection, certification and enforcement of prescribed boiler safety requirements. Its responsibilities are particularly relevant as industries introduce newer fuels, automated equipment and digital monitoring systems.

The programme also includes the National Level Best Boiler User Awards, technical discussions and industry interactions aimed at encouraging safe and efficient boiler operations.

Boiler India 2026 continues until 10 October 2026, providing a platform for government authorities, industry representatives and technical professionals to work towards safer boiler operations, improved industrial efficiency and the responsible adoption of modern technology.
