Sujan Industries Unveils AI-Powered Railway Solutions for Safety at IREE 2025

Demonstrating its leadership in railway innovation, Sujan Industries showcased its commitment to building safer and more efficient railways at IREE 2025, unveiling a suite of AI- and IoT-powered technologies designed to enhance safety, maintenance, and operational performance.

At the event, the company introduced its Smart Wagon and Smart Coach platforms, along with pantograph monitoring and obstacle detection systems. These solutions provide real-time monitoring, predictive diagnostics, and actionable insights to optimise railway operations.

Commenting on the launch, Brijesh Sujan, CEO, Sujan Industries said, “Building on decades of engineering and manufacturing legacy, Sujan Industries has continually sought to redefine what railways can achieve. With our Smart Wagon and Smart Coach platforms, we are merging Vision AI with precision engineering to create systems that think, adapt, and maintain themselves. These innovations reflect our enduring commitment to advancing safety, reliability, and operational efficiency, while demonstrating how quality engineering expertise can shape the future of railways.”

Narendra Sujan, CEO, Huse, added, “Railway innovation is not just about technology; it is about anticipating challenges and redefining standards of safety and efficiency. Our pantograph monitoring and obstacle detection systems combine Vision AI, precision engineering, and data-driven intelligence to deliver actionable insights for railway operators. By enabling smarter decision-making, enhancing performance, and improving operational reliability, these solutions underscore our commitment to developing forward-looking, technology-driven systems that make railways safer and more efficient.”

Alongside the product launch, Sujan Industries reaffirmed its long-standing partnerships with Transmission Dynamics and RailVision, which continue to enhance railway operations. The collaboration with Transmission Dynamics focuses on pantograph condition monitoring, using data-driven insights to detect anomalies in contact performance and mechanical wear, thereby optimising maintenance schedules and improving operational reliability. Similarly, RailVision’s AI-powered analytics for obstacle detection enhance situational awareness and overall system safety.

Sujan Industries’ participation at IREE 2025 reflects its decades-long leadership and vision within the railway sector. Over the years, the company has evolved from a component manufacturer to a technology-driven solutions partner, delivering integrated systems that combine material innovation, AI, and IoT. Supported by in-house R&D, advanced manufacturing, and testing capabilities, Sujan ensures precision, reliability, and compliance with global standards.

Looking ahead, the company aims to expand the adoption of its smart monitoring solutions across India’s railway modernisation programmes, while strengthening its global footprint.
