Schneider Electric sets a new benchmark in digital marketing

New Delhi, 03 December 2014: A new initiative which could set precedence in the world of digital marketing, Schneider Electric today announced that its novel Partner Relationship Management (PRM) programme has achieved 1700 registrations in less than a year.

A trenchant and ingenious marketing project, PRM programme is a digital initiative, which seeks to expand the company's reach beyond its usual sales force capacity. The program strategises to engage its existing business partners through a web portal as well as reach out to a wider market for new partners. The portal provides partner insights and tailored services and information to support partner journey, extending benefits to intermediary partners and distributors.

The portal ensures information and benefits in one location, a 24-7 support, and a stronger connection to Schneider Electric, networking opportunities, recognition for demonstration of expertise, and sales support for partners. On the other hand, it helps our partners to easily locate the nearest available sales point i.e. our distributors to place their orders on. It also has a potential to develop incremental business with a 'pull-based' demand generation ecosystem, increased average order value and heightened purchase frequency for our partners.

The web portal allows new and existing partners to embark on a new journey where targeted content is created to cater to their specific needs of knowledge related to SE solutions. Further links to existing partner programmes are introduced. Then they move on to an advanced stage of communication with more online friendly product information, global partner program feedback and branding. The next stage introduces collaborative tools, e-learning and certification paths, joint marketing actions and customizable assets. Finally, with integration completed, the innovative stage enables collaborative communities with case management, support centres and joint business plans.

The programme has created a win-win situation for the partners and Schneider Electric with the former achieving access to privileged, targeted information, specific product and solution information and promotions related to the business, and the latter being able to identify the intermediate partners, build a local database for various sales and marketing actions, and obtaining partner base insights with a newly-acquired ability to push targeted contents and actions. On the occasion of its stellar achievement, Mr Anil Chaudhry, Managing Director and Country President, Schneider Electric India Limited said, "This is an evidence of our unbridled sincerity and our indefatigable effort towards innovation. This programme marks a new marketing method - a study in itself. We have already achieved the target for the year within X months and we expect to see exponential proliferation in the years to come. Since we have registered under panel builder, data related to only its product and allies helps us in focusing our objectives. Training modules have not yet been allocated as of now for us, but I presume that this activity is going to help our company in keeping with the change in technologies and updating our staff/team members."
