Piolax India, a subsidiary of Piolax Japan has inaugurated its factory in India and will commence commercial production shortly. Piolax is a leading manufacturer of automotive parts such as industrial fasteners, compact units across the world.

Piolax is currently present all over the world with manufacturing plants in US, UK, China, Thailand and now India. Piolax are the market leaders in the production and sales of coil springs, flat springs, wire forms, metal/plastic fasteners and unit assembly parts for the automotive, consumer and security and medical sectors.

"We are happy to note that out of the 12 plus Japanese companies inside Sri City, Piolax is the third to commence production with the balance in various stages of construction or planning. Piolax is spread over 4 acres and we expect them to employ 200 people in phases," said Ravindra Sannareddy, Managing Director, Sri City.

"With production commencing, the added advantage of having other Japanese firms inside Sri City will be more beneficial to Piolax," he said.

The factory was inaugurated in the presence of officials from of Nissan, Ashok Leyland Nissan, Renault Nissan, INABATA, HONDA and Motherson Sumi. Mr. Ramesh Subramaniam, President, Sri City was also present.
