German company Paul Leibinger GmbH & Co KG from Tuttlingen - Baden-W?rttemberg celebrates its 65th year anniversary this year. Founded in 1948 in Stetten on the Danube, just 7 km away from the present headquarters, the family business is now more successful than ever. In three product areas the name 'Leibinger' stands for quality and reliability: Numbering machines, industrial inkjet printers and camera verification systems are delivered from Tuttlingen into the world.

The success story began with the numbering machines. Company founder Paul Leibinger had the vision to create more reliable and durable numbering systems that are unique in their kind.

This vision was fast becoming a reality: Within a short time, the company that Paul set up made a name for itself as a numbering specialist, which was verified by developments and patent applications over and over again. Central banks and printing houses all over the world print, e.g., serial numbers on bills, lottery tickets and more, with Paul Leibinger numbering machines.

After the death of the founder in 1963, his son G?nther Leibinger took over the management. He continued the growing of the numbering machines. There were a lot of expansions in the administrative district Tuttlingen and G?nther built up a worldwide distributor network. In addition to the traditional range of numbering machines, Paul Leibinger GmbH started in 1992 with the development of camera systems for verification. In 1996 the industrial inkjet printers for product marking was added as the third product area. "Paul Leibinger GmbH also showed in the two new divisions its competence, reached success quickly, and is known as a German manufacturer which stands for the highest quality," a press release states.

With the inkjet printers Paul Leibinger GmbH also proves its flexibility, innovation and customer satisfaction in dynamic markets. "High reliability and operator convenience were aimed from the first model, the Codi-Jet, and are fully met even today with the industrial small character inkjet printers JET3 and JET2neo," the release adds. Despite all the successes the company has always stood by its obligations. These include employee appreciation as well as loyalty to the location Tuttlingen. In 1999 all German locations and product lines of the company were united in one headquarters in Tuttlingen. "Next year the site will be expanded," the company says.

"In all countries of the world the company has been a provider of high-quality concepts for over 50 years. The main export markets are Asia, including the focus on China, and North America, where the sales are conducted by its own sales division," the release states. In 2011 Christina Leibinger joined the company management to assist G?nther Leibinger and Horst Schoch. For the future the traditional company remains in family ownership. This allows economic and social aspects. "The high know-how of the employees and the modern corporate strategy provides Paul Leibinger GmbH scope for dynamic growth. This is evident from the increase in sales by 23 per cent this year," the release adds.
