Rangsdorf (Germany) - September 5, 2013 - At the trade fair Renewable Energy India from 12 to 14 September 2013 in New Delhi, the international fastening systems manufacturer Mounting Systems GmbH from Germany will be exhibiting its comprehensive portfolio of reliable and high quality solar substructures. Just in time, the solar experts have several innovations ready to be launched: the on-roof systems Alpha+ and Tau+ with the new Clickstone technology, the flat roof substructure Lambda Light EW+ and the optimised open terrain system Sigma I. In addition, the improved planning software Quick Configurator will be available from now on. For the Indian market, the company provides suitable solutions for all roofs and for large solar plants.

Firstly, Mounting Systems introduces its new slot nut Clickstone for the on-roof systems Alpha+ and Tau+. The Clickstone works on a simple principle: click into the rail, position, tighten, done. This results in a fast assembly, a high adaptability and increased safety during installation. With the symmetrical design, the installer can insert the Clickstone into the rail and adjust it for an accurate fit. Moreover, the system takes account of varying load limits. In the development process, the engineers harmonised the components in line with the Clickstone technology: from the telescope end pieces, the flexible roof hook connections as well as the cross rail connector. All components work together economically.

"With the development of the Clickstone, our engineers have successfully made a technological leap. Our customers will benefit in three ways: efficient planning with the Quick Configurator calculation software, simplified assembly on site as well as enhanced safety over the entire life span of the solar system. That goes hand in hand with our high level of service and quality. At the same time, the customer profits by cost-savings thanks to the reduced use of material," says Helge Tost, Director Sales & Marketing.

Additionally, Mounting Systems offers a newly designed software for safe and fast planning of both the Alpha+ and the Tau+. The Quick Configurator features a user-friendly design and expanded functions as for example working upon parallel and different projects. The software provides everything a customer needs: a location specific structural verification, a ready-to-order bill of material and a clear installation plan.

Less is more: This principle applies to the advanced open terrain system Sigma I. Now, the improved system makes do with ten per cent less material, especially in terms of the rafters and module supports. This finally results in lower costs. A uniform adapter plate is now available for all tilt angles. This reduces storage costs and shortens delivery times. Where four drill holes used to be necessary to fix the adapter plate to the post, the new, smaller plate now has just two drill holes. Hence, the Sigma I is easier and faster to assemble.

At the Mounting Systems stand (presentation in (Hall 7 at Stand 25), customers can also explore the flat roof systems Lambda and Lambda Light EW+ with East-West orientation.
