LVD Company introduces next-generation tube laser cutting machine
The new tube laser is equipped with a number of high-performance features to optimise tube cutting for even the most complex of applications. It has a completely new design built for high productivity.
LVD Company nv, a leading manufacturer of sheet metalworking equipment, including laser cutting systems, punch presses, press brakes, guillotine shears and automation systems, announced the launch of its new TL 8525 that will be a part of its tube laser cutting machines. The new generation tube laser is equipped with a number of high-performance features to optimise tube cutting for even the most complex of applications.
With a large 8500 mm infeed length, the TL 8525 can process tubes up to 250 mm round or square. The standard machine features include a 45-degree 3D tilt-axis cutting head for bevelling, 6-position front loader and a wide X-axis cutting head range of 1190 mm to maximise material usage.
The TL 8525 has a completely new design built for high productivity. Its welded steel structure provides high rigidity and dynamics. The pre-mounted chuck and steady rest facilitate quick and easy machine installation and start-up. It maintains the compact footprint of other TL models and offers the advantage of accessibility on all sides of the machine.
The new generation tube laser incorporates a high degree of automation with automatic tube loading, automatic tube centring and automatic set up and adjustment of the chuck and steady rest. It has a high-power fume extraction system integrated into the chuck that automatically removes approximately 4000 cubic meters of fumes hourly from the cutting area.
The TL 8525 comes equipped with a 2 kW IPG fibre laser source and a 4 kW optional laser source capable of cutting a range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
