Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL), a global fluid management company inaugurated its first Authorised Refurbishment Centre (ARC) at Vadodara, India. The facility was officially inaugurated at the hands of Mr Vijay Vinchurkar - Vice President & Project Director L&T Power Limited.

Authorised Refurbishment Centre is well equipped with state-of-the-art facility to service, repair and improve efficiency for all small, medium and large pumps manufactured by Kirloskar Brothers Limited. The facility will offer services like overhauling of pumps, impeller balancing, hydro testing, corrocoating, performance enhancement, testing, shot blasting and painting and lastly it will also cater to customers having annual maintenance contract (AMC).

The company has six manufacturing plants and has now embarked on Authorised Refurbishment Centre (ARC), the first of which is being set up in Vadodara. The main objective behind commencing this new facility is to provide its customers with better conveniences of saving transportation cost, time and saving energy by upgrading the pumps.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Vinchurkar said, "I am extremely delighted and proud to inaugurate the first Authorised Refurbishment Centre (ARC) by KBL in India." He further added, "I have been informed by Kirloskar Brothers Limited that they are planning to set up four more similar refurbishment centres in different cities of India. This is a great investment by the Kirloskar Brothers Limited to address the service needs of process industries located in the proximity of Vadodara. I wish them all the very best for their endeavour."
