As part of the implementation of its Strategic Plan 2016-2018 and effective April 4th, Lantek has appointed Juan Jose Colas as Chief Commercial Officer. Juan Jose will take a seat on the Board of Directors and he will be responsible for global commercial strategy and business development for the corporation.
As a special task, and considering the importance of the Strategic Plan 2016-2018, he will have under his direct responsibility two key markets: United Kingdom and France. Lantek has very strong development plans for these markets and they are a very important challenge.
Lantek CEO Alberto Martínez says: “Juan José has successfully managed operations in several countries during the last years. He takes this position at a time when Lantek is well poised for growth and the team worldwide is fully geared to leverage the new market opportunities and contribute to the growth of software solutions for the sheet metal industry.”
Prior to this role, Juan José has worked for the industrial machinery business (Fagor Arrasate) as Commercial Director and in the implementation off-shore production in China. More recently, he has occupied CEO positions at an automotive components manufacturing company and in an electronic equipment development and distribution group.
