Siemens PLM Software, a business unit of the Siemens Industry Automation Division and a leading global provider of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software and services, has been recognised by Frost & Sullivan as "Company of the Year for PLM in India, 2013". This award was announced recently at their 2013 Industrial Technologies Awards function in Mumbai, India.

Frost & Sullivan recognises outstanding industry achievements by awarding top companies in regional and global markets in various categories. The nominations are independent, third-party objective analysis of industry best practices that also includes voice of customer analysis. The team conducts detailed research and assessment on market performance of various companies (key factors such as innovation in new product development, revenue growth, market share growth, portfolio diversity, customer value leadership, service leadership, major customer acquisitions and business & market strategy, etc. Companies are shortlisted in each category. Post this, a panel of judges comprising of senior Industry Directors from Frost & Sullivan deliberates the findings of the analyst team and determines the deserving award recipients.
