A function was held at Alfa Laval (India) Dapodi factory, Pune, where over 75 employees came together along with the management team of Alfa Laval (India) to pledge for a green earth.

Employees will plant saplings at Pune, Satara and Sarole where the company has its manufacturing facilities in India. More than 1200 saplings will be distributed to the employees and they will pledge for a green earth. This is in line with Alfa Laval's commitment towards the environment and sustainability for our planet earth.

Jose Hernanz, Managing Director, Alfa Laval India says, "Planting trees is also a symbol for belief in the future. In the last 75 years, our business which includes products and process solutions has grown steadily." Jose adds, "It is a great milestone in the history of the company and we will continue to expand and grow our business in India."

The company started operations in India as early as 1937 and established its first manufacturing facility in 1965 in Dapodi, Pune. The company has a new corporate office which is situated at Baner, Pune. It has state-of-the-art manufacturing plants in Pune, Satara and Sarole. The company has two service centres in Thane and Vizag and a strong presence with offices pan India.
