Juniper Green Adds 64 MWp Renewable Capacity across Gujarat and Maharashtra

Juniper Green Energy Limited (Juniper Green Energy) has successfully commissioned approximately 64 MWp of new renewable energy capacity across two major projects in Gujarat and Maharashtra. This includes a ~28 MW wind power project, commissioned four months ahead of its Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD), and the ~36 MWp solar component of a hybrid power project, completed thirteen months ahead of its SCOD. The milestone highlights the company’s robust project execution capabilities and its continued commitment to advancing India’s clean energy transition and includes the commissioning of a wind power project and the solar component of its hybrid power project in these respective states.

~28 MW Wind Power Project – Devbhumi Dwarka, Gujarat

Juniper Green Energy has commissioned approximately 28 MW of capacity from its 70 MW wind project in Devbhumi Dwarka, Gujarat, through its subsidiary Juniper Green Kite Private Limited. It was commissioned on 15 October 2025, around four months ahead of its Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) of 7 February 2026. The subsidiary had executed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited for the full 70 MW project on 8 February 2024.

~36 MWp Solar Component – Nanded, Maharashtra

The company also commissioned the ~36 MWp solar component of its 133 MWp hybrid power project in Nanded district, Maharashtra, through its subsidiary Juniper Green Spark Ten Private Limited. The plant was commissioned on 12 October 2025, around thirteen months ahead of schedule. The subsidiary had executed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited on 18 November 2024, with a Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) of 17 November 2026.

Commenting on the development, Ankush Malik, CEO, Juniper Green Energy, said, “The dual commissioning across Gujarat and Maharashtra, completed months ahead of schedule, is a testament to our execution capabilities and commitment to speedy delivery. At Juniper Green Energy, we remain focused on driving India’s clean energy transition by consistently bringing reliable and sustainable power online sooner than expected.”

Juniper Green Energy is an independent renewable power producer in India, focused on the development, construction, and operation of utility-scale solar, wind, and hybrid renewable energy projects.
