Mercury Pneumatics looks for Channel Partners to increase global footprint

Mercury Pneumatics Pvt Ltd, a leading player in hydro-pneumatic presses and pumps in India, is looking for channel partners to expand its overseas business. “Mercury Pneumatics wishes to increase its global footprint with Channel Partners who share the passion of selling quality technical products and are dedicated to customer service,” said Noel Rasquinha, Managing Director, Mercury Pneumatics. Interested companies can write to Mercury Pneumatics at sales@mercuryindia.net.

Mercury Pneumatics Pvt Ltd has completed over 39 years in the pneumatic industry and constant innovation has led to its success. Established in 1980, its motto was to introduce to the Indian market, world class products of latest design, at an affordable price. Their current product range consists of hydro-pneumatic presses, hydro-pneumatic pumps, air boosters, grease pumps, pneumatic valves, cylinders and accessories and special products for OEM applications. All of them meet the original motto.

Their special ‘T’ rings design spool valves, introduced in 1980, have stood the test of time and are competing successfully against products of several multinational firms now operating in India. In 1989, MERCURY pioneered the introduction of hydro-pneumatic presses and pumps in India, as a low cost alternative to expensive and complex hydraulic systems. Today, as the market leader, it is constantly improving these products with complete indigenous design and technology.

Hydro pneumatic presses can generate forces ranging from 1 tonne to 45 tonnes using only compressed air of 5 bar as input power. These presses can be used for applications such as stamping, riveting, blanking, straightening, drawing, clamping, shearing and press fit assembly operations. Over 20, 000 systems are currently working in various industries across the globe and a major portion of the orders received are repeat orders, which confirms their reliability and customer satisfaction.

The latest design of hydro pneumatic presses have an aluminium body design and their internal construction is such that they  can be used in conjunction with reed switches for automation, which is a first in the world.

With success of the hydro pneumatic product range, Mercury Pneumatics ventured into design and launch of the air boosters and grease pumps and are the only Indian manufacturers of this technology till date. Air boosters are used to increase shop air pressure by 2, 3 or 10 times, for applications that require a higher air pressure of where a drop in line pressure will cause a disturbance in the performance of the machinery. On the other hand, grease pumps are used to dispense a metered quantity of grease (0.1 gm to 125 gm) in products during assembly operations, generating reliability of the end product.

To support customers, MERCURY has established a nationwide marketing network of technically competent Business Associates. This direct marketing strategy along with the support of factory trained personnel has enabled the company to provide quick and reliable technical advice and service support, which is very much appreciated by its customers.

Besides the standard products, it has developed several special products for OEM applications and import substitutes. Continuous efforts in R&D give Mercury the technical strength and ability to launch products with the latest technology at an affordable price.
